What is it?
Crosspoint is a youth club that we run for young people aged 11-14. With enjoyment as the key aim, Crosspoint offers sports, games, creative activities and a tuck shop, as well as just a space to sit, chat and relax.
Where and when?
Crosspoint runs more or less every Friday evening during term time, from 7:00 - 9:00pm.
Why do we do it?
We run Crosspoint to provide a space for young people to come and enjoy themselves. There's no forced Christian teaching, but we aim to demonstrate the love of Jesus to those who come to Crosspoint by the way that we run it and interact with the young people.
Thinking of coming?
There's currently a waiting list to get on the Crosspoint register, but if you want to come for a taster session to see if you want to put your name down, that's fine, just turn up at 7pm on a term-time Friday evening.
It's free to come to Crosspoint, although there is a tuck shop so you may want to bring some money for that.
Because of issues with loitering etc. around West Kirby town centre, we can't operate a 'drop-in' venue, so the door becomes out-only after 7:30pm. On a legal note, those attending Crosspoint are free to leave whenever they want, but once they leave the building they are no longer the responsibility of Crosspoint leaders, and if they leave after 7:30pm they will not be allowed back in that evening.
