Services:

We have two services every Sunday...

10:45am - Morning Services

These have a very mixed congregation from the very young right up to those still young at heart. They have a friendly family feel, and are followed by a time of coffee, biscuits and fellowship in the church hall. Alongside the main morning services there are also specific provisions in place for younger members of the congregation:

  • A crèche is available at the back of church for under 3s;
  • After about 15 minutes in the main service, our Junior Church provides teaching, fun and fellowship to meet the needs of 3-11 year olds;
  • Ultim8 provides an opportunity for 11-14s to dig deeper into the Bible and develop their faith in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

Children are also welcome to stay for the whole of the morning service if they/parents so wish. Please do not be concerned if your little ones run around or make noise in the services- we like to welcome children as they are just as Jesus did, and still does.

6:30pm - Evening Services

Our evening services are geared towards the younger generation and have a strong youth attendance. They are informal and lively, with a full worship band and modern worship music, as well as engaging teaching to equip and strengthen the congregation. In term time the evening service is followed by our United Youth Fellowship, for 14-18s. The crèche (with sound feed from main service) is available for use as somewhere to go if children become difficult, but is not staffed in the evening services as it is in the mornings.

Communion

Communion is held about once every two months in the morning services, and about four times a year in the evenings, as well as on Easter Sunday morning, and the midnight service on Christmas Eve.

Catering for Special Requirements:

Sight: The building is fairly flat, open and easy to navigate. Large print versions of songs and hymns used in services are available upon request. A digital projector projects large, clear song lyrics during the service; for best view of the screen, sit near the front on the left.

Hearing: Although an amplified sound system is used in services, we also operate a hearing aid loop, so switch your hearing aid to the 'T' position.

Mobility: The building is easily accessible. When attending a normal service, there will be no steps to negotiate at all coming from the pavement. Space is provided for wheelchair users half way down the side aisles of the church.

Diet: If you have special dietary requirements (especially regarding bread or wine), please advise the minister or an elder before the relevant service.

Other requirements: If you have any other requirements please do not hesitate to ask for provision to be made to make your visit a more pleasant experience - we will be able to cater for most needs.
