What is it?
Toddlers is a place where young children can come to let off steam, get creative, have a sing and generally have a good time. It's also a great place for tired mums to take a break, and make use of the supply of drinks and biscuits. Our Toddlers is held in the church halls and is actually made up of two separate groups, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon. A typical session (same for both morning and afternoon groups) includes plenty of time to play, storytime, and a sing-song in the church.
Where and when?
Toddlers runs every Friday, the morning session is 10:00 - 11:30am, and the afternoon session 1:00 - 2:30pm (roughly). Both sessions are in the Church Halls.
Why do we do it?
We aim to show the love of Jesus by providing a high quality, well organised event in a friendly, caring, supportive atmosphere, and to introduce the children and parents to Christianity by including a very simple prayer in each session.
Thinking of coming?
If you'd like a taster of what Toddlers is like then just come along to one of the sessions.
There is currently a waiting list of a few months to get on the register, but we will consider individual cases if there's an urgent need for our support.
We ask for a donation of £1.20 for each 'family' (set of child(ren) and parent(s)/carer) per session, which enables us to provide tea, biscuits and toys.
