RSVP for An Evening with Guy Lister - Tuesday 15 October
One of our church priorities for this year is Expectancy, that we would grow more expectant of God's Spirit at work, and more eager to develop His gifts within us.
Service leaders, preachers, worship leaders, fellowship group leaders and elders are all warmly invited to a special evening at the church on Tuesday 15 October to learn more about expectancy and to give us a confidence-boost as we hear stories of God at work and are equipped to follow His lead. The evening will be particularly useful for those who lead in the context of Sunday services, but fellowship group leaders are very welcome too as we know how valuably you lead times of prayer, discernment and worship in your small groups.
We will begin with refreshments at 7pm then from 7.30pm we will have a guest speaker, Guy Lister, who is a former elder and senior pastor at NorthGate church in Chester. Before that, Guy was a long-standing worship leader with a real heart for seeing God move and people’s gifting being nurtured. Guy is an old friend of Rob Jackson's, and Rob highly recommends this evening to us all.
