Vision

At West Kirby URC, we're all about Connecting your Community to Christ. We have a vision to grow a relevant, Christ-like church that serves our community and, under this vision, some specific priorities for 2026:

Toddlers, children's and youth ministry
To consolidate our outreach and discipleship by establishing a culture where children, young people and families are enabled to serve as part of church life.

Prayer ministry
To enable a small prayer ministry team to operate within the morning service, complementing the prayer that already happens between members and friends.

Provisioning: finances
To maintain and stabilise our current vision by ensuring we balance the books over a three to five year plan and there is whole church engagement under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Provisioning: servant-leaders and servant-disciples
To grow more intentional in nurturing and raising up servant-leaders and disciples, particularly amongst those aged 20-60.
