Russell Purves is being baptised at our evening service.This is a great service of celebration of someone who's committed their life to serving Jesus. Come and join us and hear what the Christian life is about.

We welcomed Debra Green, the National Director of ROC to our service this morning. Roc is no stranger to WKURC, having held its first ROC Conversation in May last year,  which brought together community groups, churches, the police, the fire service, local authorities and voluntary agencies to encourage them to work together in positive partnerships for practical change. The aim of Redeeming our Communities is to be a catalyst for community transformation by promoting partnerships which open up more opportunities for crime and disorder reduction, and enhanced community cohesion.

The next Alpha Course begins on Tuesday 11th October meeting at West Kirby Tennis Club.  The alpha Supper held on October 18th provides a chance to meet and get to know each other over a good meal. More details are available from George Ryan our Alpha Co-ordinator.
