West Kirby URC began 2014 by studying the book of 1 John through a series of talks in the morning service. 1 John is a short letter towards the end of the New Testament and its main themes are concerned with faith and love in Jesus. 1 John chapter 3, verse 16 explains that 'this is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down His life for us'.
