Children's Activities:
- The halls are available for individuals to hire and are popular for children's parties on weekdays and Saturdays. Find out more here.
- Better Grades offer systemised 1-2-1 coaching for school students in the small hall after-school on Tuesdays, seeking to work with the teenage brain, not against it. Find out more @ GCSEbettergrades.co.uk
- Each year, we welcome Study Time to conduct their mock exams in the main hall. Mr Joe at Study Time Tutors creates a focused, supportive environment where students are encouraged to work hard and build real confidence. Meetings:
- Andrew Tallents provide executive coaching for CEOs and Founders, coaching for Non-Executive Directors, relationship coaching for Chairs, CEOs, and CFOs, reflective leadership circles, company board coaching and systemic leadership team coaching. Find out more here.
- West Kirby Transition Town's Drop-In is held in the main hall on Tuesdays from 9am to 1.30pm. The West Kirby Drop-In is a well-established friendly group run under the umbrella of Transition Town West Kirby, to promote and support mental health and wellbeing. There's often table tennis, art, puzzles and chat, and each week there is a 2-course meal at noon for £3. No need to book, just drop-in any Tuesday for refreshments and chat.
- We are pleased to host a variety of 'one-off' public meetings for local organisations, including Wirral Foodbank who work to combat poverty and hunger across local region, and the Friends of Hilbre Islands who support the preservation and promotion of the three beautiful tidal islands located in the nearby estuary.
- Merseyside Railway History Society are a group of railway enthusiasts interested in the history of local and national railways. The Society enjoy a programme of monthly meetings on Thursdays from September to April each year. For dates and details, see here.
Music:
- Cantemus is a choir of over 80 adults, meeting weekly during term time, on Tuesdays from 7.30pm in the main hall. The Choir's ever expanding repertoire is extensive, from Rock to Pop, Oratorio to Opera, performing one or two concerts each term. For more information see here.
- Wednesday Music Group is a small group of musicians who like to play classical and popular music, just for fun. The group meet most Wednesday afternoons at 2:15pm until 3:30pm in the Small Hall. New members are always welcome - no audition required, just come along.
- Wirral Community Orchestra is a non-audition, amateur community orchestra, welcoming players of any instrument or ability or age. The orchestra meet in the hall on Thursday evenings and from time to time play concerts in the church and other venues, often in aid of local charities. Find out more here.
Special Events:
- Our neighbours at West Kirby Bookshop host a range of special author events at the church, and we are pleased to support their highly curated independent bookshop, focusing on literary fiction, non-fiction and children’s books. Find out about upcoming events here.
- We are happy to receive enquiries from musicians seeking a concert venue.
Sports & Dancing:
- The hall has a badminton court marked out and bookings are welcome for small groups to enjoy this facility.
- Feel Free Pilates meet from 6.45pm on Tuesdays with a classical pilates class suitable for complete beginners through to experienced movers. The sessions focus on strength, mobility, control, and mindful movement — helping you feel the benefits both in class and in everyday life. Find out more here.
