West Kirby URC enjoy a bi-annual Church Weekend Away together at The Quinta in Shropshire. It's always a great time of fellowship for all ages, as we celebrate being God's family, having fun and worshipping together.
The next Church Weekend Away is booked in for 1st – 3rd April 2022. At this stage, we need to know who is interested in attending so we can decide if is still viable to go ahead this year.
The church weekend is an excellent opportunity to spend time with each other in a relaxed and informal setting. No cooking, no washing up – just time to walk, talk, play or rest, alongside times of worship and reflection, prayer and seminars.
Arrive from 5pm on the Friday night, have tea, after which there will be a short time of welcome and introduction. On Friday night and all day Saturday, there will be a range of themed sessions and activities available with something for everyone and on Sunday morning we will share communion in a service. The children and young people will be catered for during the adult sessions and have a great time!
The weekend will include time for rest and reflection so you might like to get creative, to use the swimming pool or to explore Quinta’s beautiful grounds and the surrounding area.
Although costs are not yet finalised, we expect them to be approximately as follows:
Sarah Jackson leads on all the administration related to the Church Weekend and bookings, and the staff team lead on all the content of the Weekend. Lots more information will follow if it is viable to go ahead.

- Concessions- £90
- 12- 17 yrs - £65
- 3 – 11 - £50
